About
Aleks
I'm an engineer and entrepreneur co-founding Unit-6, where we're building agentic systems that bring together cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and machine learning. Previously, I was Head of Engineering at Auguria, a seed-backed ML data processing company, and before that I co-founded Cybermundus through the Yes!Delft Validation Lab, where we explored machine learning, digital-twins, and multi-layer graph networks.
Security and privacy shape how I build systems and how I work day to day. Over the years I've engineered and managed large-scale cloud infrastructure, from deploying cloud systems for IIS, Sweden's national domain registry, to helping build out Uppsala University's HPC environment.
Lately I've been spending a lot of time in the ML engineering and big data space, which I genuinely enjoy for the complexity and the constant learning it demands. On the personal side, I'm a long-time Qubes OS user and a big fan of its security model. I've also been experimenting a lot with NixOS recently, and have been really enjoying working with clan.lol.
My passion has always been understanding technology from a security and privacy perspective.
